Alfa Romeo Giulietta pricing announced (UK)

The Alfa Romeo Giulietta will start from £16,995, rising to £24,495 for the range-topping 1750 TBi 232bhp Cloverleaf. Entry-level Giulietta Turismo will be powered by a 1.4 litre 118bhp petrol engine. Standard features will include air conditioning, electrically adjustable/heated door mirrors, remote central locking, electric front and rear windows, Start&Stop, VDC, LED front and rear lights, Electronic Q2, Alfa’s DNA system that allows the driver to tailor the car’s responses to changing road conditions and 6 airbags. The options list will include alloy wheels, bi-xenon headlamps, metallic paint, panoramic glass sunroof and more.

Potential customers will get their first chance to see the car at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July. They will also have a choice of five engines and three mainstream trims – as well as the range-topping Cloverleaf – to choose from.

Diesel-engined Giuliettas start with the 103bhp 1.6 JTDM-2 Turismo at £17,895 and the more powerful 168bhp 2.0 litre model start from £21,195.

Only the Cloverleaf does without an engine stop-start system, but this flagship model compensates with its own trim: 18" alloy wheels with a dark titanium finish, dark tinted windows, red painted brake calipers and the iconic Cloverleaf badge. Top speed is 150 mph, with a 0-62 mph acceleration time of just 6.8 seconds.

Order books are open now with first deliveries starting in late Summer.
